Experience

I have been growing and cultivating young minds for nine years. Although teaching has its challenges, I believe it to be one of the most important and rewarding careers. Its a profession that teaches all other professions. As a proud graduate of McCollum, I hope to inspire, encourage, and educate our students in order to push them toward success.

Late Work Policy: Students are expected to complete all major assignments at the due date despite absences. Please Check Course Syllabus for the Late Work Policy.

Daily work that is submitted late will be deducted 10 points for each day that is late. After the five day mark, a grade of a zero will be inserted for the late assignment. English teachers will not accept late after the five-day mark.

Supply List 
English II Pre-AP: 1 1/2'' binder with five dividers, Agenda or Calendar, blue or black writing utensils, a pack of assorted highlighters, one composition book, and one spiral notebook, loose-leaf paper, and index cards. Students may merge binders with another class as long as they have tabs under an "English" divider to organize their work.

English IV AP: 2" Binder with 5 dividers, Agenda or Calendar, blue or black writing utensil, a pack of highlighters (all different colors), a college-ruled composition book, a spiral, and pack of post-its.
